Infomercial & New Visitor's Center @ Poças

We visited this new center at Poças with our PHT2 in September and were one of the very first groups to experience their hospitality. I found it to be a wonderful place to visit and we had a really cool catered dinner in their Port cellar and a formal tutored Port tasting beforehand and subsequently experienced some Douro wines with dinner.

We’ve just opened a new Visitor Centre
In Vila Nova de Gaia

We’re now ready to welcome you at our brand new visitor centre in Gaia. The new visitor centre opened recently and it’s now open daily, from 10am to 5:30pm (from May to September until 8pm).

It’s a great opportunity to visit us and take part on a guided tour of our Port Wine Cellars to discover their unforgettable aromas. Learn how we make our wines while you visit the working cellars. After you taste our wines, you can comfortably acquire your favorites.

Visits to the new centre cost 3,50 € and include a guided tour of the cellars and Port wine tasting. Additionally you can taste a wide variety of Douro and Port wines. Guided tours are available in 4 different languages (spanish, french, english and português).

It was very nice.
Especially the dinner in the cellar amongst the barrels was special.
