2008 Niepoort Douro Dialogo.

$22 Cdn, 13% alc, good natural cork, decanted one hour. Cellared 4 yrs.

Dumb nose at first but opens nicely, earthy, spice, cassis. Just slight bricking on the rim, not a lot of depth, light cherry color.
Took almost 2 hrs to show anything. I noted good acidity and pepper finish, dried fruits, not a lot of sweetness, savoury.plum cherry.
Some nice development on day 2 with more ripe fruit showing plus tobacco.
