NV Andresen 20 yrs old tawny "Royal Choice"

Post by Rune EG »

These 20 years old Andresen tawnies are not so easily available here in the Nordic countries as before. During the years we have had many of them.
Purchased last autumn four bottles in Denmark. Unfortunately it appeared that all four were heavily oxidized and undrinkable. Got full refund from the supplier, so on the money side it was OK, but disappointing that they were all in such a bad shape. No leakage was visible, and the T-corks seemed to be in good condition. All bottles were bottled 2015. All bottles were delivered in the usual metal boxes, and none of them had any sign of damages.

Would be interesting to hear if others have had similar experience lately.
