Ports Until Sold Out in USA - 24 hour offering

Post by Roy Hersh »

I was contacted by the owner of The Rare Wine Co., Mannie Berk.

He currently has 6 bottles of the Taylor's 1863 Single Harvest Tawny Port for sale. Of course, this wine was originally in cask and owned by Krohn and is one of the finest Ports I have ever tasted in my life. An instant 100 point experience, each time I've had it.

It sold on original release in the UK for the equivalent of $5100. It was offered in the USA and The Rare Wine Company had it for the lowest price in the country back in 2014 @ $4150.

Mr. Berk asked if I'd like to offer this to the FTLOP enthusiasts from the Forum in No. America and Europe. While a bit more complicated to ship to Europe, due to packing and then shipping internationally, it can be done.

Please be aware that his company is going to be selling them too, so IF YOU WANT ONE or TWO, there is a sense of "urgency" as the RWC will continue to sell them through their normal channels too. So do not hesitate to get your order in on Wed. or Thursday ... until sold out.

BTW, the price is the lowest I've ever heard of for this Port @ $2895 USD. Shipping is extra. Delivery to take place, late spring. CONTACT: [email protected] asap!

If you want to see what this looks like, have a peak at the FOR THE LOVE OF PORT'S facebook page, where the picture resides, so you can see the beauty of the wood display box and cut glass decanter that is part of the packaging.

And I resolved not to buy any wine in 2017, except when I'm in Portugal.
