Well, I did today. I was looking in the cellar for something for tonight and wanted a TFP Port for the virtual tasting that ends tomorrow. I saw a 1/2 bottle of 1991 Fonseca Guimaraens VP, lying next to it was a 1/2 bottle of 2007 Fonseca VP. I was in a hurry to begin with when I got even more distracted and grabbed the bottle, pulled the cork and tossed it into the decanter. I ran out of the house, cause I was in a hurry and just got back. It was then I noticed the color was really dark, like really dark. I had a small taste and thought, "Wow, this is really young and fruity. Way more than any other 1991 FG I've had." I then grabbed the bottle for a pic and went
I'm an idiot. I grabbed the 2007 Fonseca VP by mistake. I can report the 2007 is still really dark, young, and has a great life ahead of it

My first thought was, like you mean in the last hour or just the total for today
?
However after reading your post I can admit worse than that after breaking a bottle while arranging things (I managed to save a bit over half).

LOL that was my first thought, too!!!
Though for Port-related blunders, I can't top Andy's.
I've forgotten to bring bottles to tastings, and I've forgotten to bring glassware to tastings, but I don't recall every actually
opening the wrong Port!

First World problem....hey at least you are drinking something nice....it's only a split, so open the 1991 Fonseca, too. And if this is the dumbest thing you do for March its a win.
Any Port in a storm!

Trust me it won't be the only thing LOL.
And I will open the other. Not sure when, but it's on death row so sometime this year for sure.
