So the question Is. are they vintage or just some basic Madeira?

The thinking is that since the house belonged to a very wealthy and well connected family, they are of good quality wines. Mannie Berk has sponsored wine events at the very house and I think he may be connected somehow in their evaluation.

It appears they were put into glass only two years after importation. True glass aged Madeira.
