Aroma of stewed fruits, figs, in sugar syrup; along with caramel and maltose and cream. This is tasty, but a little stale compared to the just tasted 1947 Kopke colheita. Tastes of invert sugar. It is improving … with more orange, tangerine, and marmalade. Has lots of good acid. 92 points.
