S. Leonardo “60” White Tawny Port

Post by Eric Menchen »

Aroma gives so much cream-Orange Creamsicle; fenugreek, crème brûlée, butterscotch taffy, honey almond nougat. The flavor is so concentrated! Wonderful. Tastes of honey candy bar, and has a marigold flavor. Reminds me of a Tokaji Aszu, 6P. It is spicy as well. My wine of the night (tasted on an evening with many colheitas, 1937-1967, as well as the S. Leonardo "60" red tawny). 97 points. (21 Jul 17)
