Auctions

New to the forum and sorry if I've missed it but can't see a thread on up-coming auctions..?

(Or are people perhaps wisely keeping any knowledge to themselves!)

Brightwells (Leominster*, England) has a fair few port lots in its up-coming 6 September auction. The catalogue is available for free on their website. Nothing there that particularly interests me this time, mind. They do sometimes have in bond lots.

(I've moved this topic to Port & Madeira Marketplace, as that seems like the most appropriate forum to discuss upcoming auctions.)

Hi Henry,

We don't have a dedicated thread for tracking upcoming auctions, but people do mention them periodically when there's something unusual or interesting available. We even occasionally "group purchase" and split lots when they're larger than any of us wants individually.

I'm not buying this year, but do post about auctions as Glenn has mentioned when I'm tracking them.
