1977 Taylor Vintage Port
Tasted blind. Very weak aroma, weakest of the flight at first, with slight cola and leather. Then later some floral character developed. Fairly sweet in the mouth, with strong concentration. This could use a little more acid for balance, but the warmth in the finish helps. Second taste is better, more balanced. And the fruit is coming out as well. This is definitely improving in the glass. 94 points? No, not quite. 93+ points, but better than #10 (1977 Fonseca).
