Popped, decanted. and then served. Light brick red in color with a bit of cloudiness that didn't affect the taste. There were flavors of strawberries and plums, with a little alcohol heat that blew off within 15 minutes. Very little tannin left, with moderate sweetness that wasn't at all cloying. The wine is very drinkable. A much better wine than had been anticipated from a tertiary producer from a mediocre vintage. Further proof of the age-ability of LBV ports. (88 pts.)

Sounds pretty nice for an old LBV from a producer with a so-so reputation back then. Always nice when that happens!!
