2010 Quinta do Crasto LBV Port

Post by Andy Velebil »

Unfiltered. Moderate fruit and tannins with spearmint and plums the most pronounced flavors. A moderately long finish. A tough vintage but this LBV still shows quite well despite that.

Thanks for the TN....I have just one bottle of this. A little hard to find and the 2011s, which are alleged to be far superior, are prevalent around here. Still, I am saving a Crasto LBV vertical just for fun and wish I could find another 2010.

the 2011 LBV is like $12 at our local Costco.

That a ridiculous price. The less than some basic rubies around here.

It may've been $14, but you get the point. No sales tax here either. I bought a case and couple extra bottles. Did not have anything from 2011 at the time. Recently picked up a couple of 2011 Noval VP's for dirt cheap. Couldn't say no.
