2007 Graham Vintage Port

Post by Eric Menchen »

Like the 2000 Graham tasted immediately prior, this also has plenty of grape and fruit aroma, and additionally has some grape stem and eucalyptus. The flavor also has lots of fruit, plenty of tannins. It is jammy grapey along with some pepper and spirit. Overall a really nice wine. 94 points.

I recently opened a 750ml bottle of the 2007 Graham's and I came away very impressed. It's definitely young and full of fruit, but I feel this is an underrated port that once it has 20 years on it will be a great Port. I have several bottles in my cellar and I'm looking forward to trying it again in 5 and then 10 years.
