I'm in the hunt for a 1947 vintage Port or Madeira. If anyone knows a source would you let me know?? Thanks in advance!!

1945 and 1948 were generally declared years for Port, 1947 was not. Only a small number of houses declared in 1947, so that will be a tough search on the Port side. If you're willing to consider Colheita Port, there are a few more options there.

I’ve had a Cockburn ‘47 before, purchased through The Chicago Wine Company, but unfortunately it was DOA upon opening. I’d definitely consult Wine-searcher.com or it’s pro service to see who’s got what available online.
