Bottled 2014 (50 cl) (Tasted June 2014)

The bouquet offers nuts, caramel, spicy notes from the wood barrels, weak undertones of pharmacy, a little smoke and a little alcohol.
This 40 year old port has a lot of sweetness, but not too much, and the taste includes brown sugar, caramel, apricot and spices.
Medium / full-bodied, soft and a little creamy in the mouth, but also a wine with good acidity and backbone. The wine have perfect balance and a long finish.
Clear golden brown color, a slight hint of yellow on the rim.
