I bumped into these news about ASAE, a Portuguese economic and food safety authority, finding out about fake bottles of Barca Velha and Pêra Manca auctioned:

Only a matter of time. Despite what some think, fake Portuguese wines, Port, and Madeira are here. The increased value of them made it inevitable. Buyer beware!
