Pocas 10yo Tawny. Haven't had this in a very long time, pretty good, in a fresh style with good complexity, no red fruit, liked it very much! Will have to repeat

Stood these up for High Bridge Port Club's 2011 LBV Tasting on Saturday (The Sammamish crew did a similar one a couple months back):
1. Barros
2. Churchill
3. Dows *@
4. Fonseca @
5. Grahams @
6. Niepoort @
7. Quinta do Crasto *@
8. Quinta do Noval @
9. Ramos Pinto *
10. Sandeman @
11. Taylor Fladgate *@
12. Ringer--same one as Sammamish--a 2012 Quinta das Carvalhas *
About 1/2 the bottles are the same as Sammamish (*); and Roy in his LBV article a few months ago tasted some (@). Since I am hosting at my house and there will be 15 tasters, space is an issue so I am having 3 tables each with 4 bottles and sub groups of 5 people each and the groups will rotate around. Curious to see if this set up removes bias (i.e. the first bottles often get the most attention, last ones the least)---with the proposed set up each port will be in a first, middle and last group so to speak.

Re: What have you opened this week?
1994 Warres VP, 375 ml.
Pop and pour, this was so fruity with maraschino cherry aroma and black cherry and dark berry flavors that I thought to myself, "Is this going to be >94 points?" But those faded rather quickly and it settled into a more expected place. Still very nice.
