1955 Dow Vintage Port

Tasted blind in a flight of seven 1955 VPs. This was the lightest in color of the bunch, with a fairly orange hue. This is even more musty than the previously tasted wine (Warres), with a rotten aroma, rotting socks, rotting flowers, and slightly more pleasant pineapple character. It tastes better than it smells, but not great. 88 points.
