2013 Quinta Das Carvalhas LBV -- bottled 2017

I noted some previous notes on this that were not glowing. It has a very mild table wine nose. Very red the first day--almond cherry blackberry flavors that meld into blueberry after 2 days, and the color changes to match. It's a dense but simple flavor, no oak or woodiness here, which would help the slight cloying. After a few days there is that fuzzy blackberry bite in the back of my throat which helps alot. Anything I drank the first 2 days was a waste, and after that, while not really cloying, a little is enough. I'm not fond of this, even at under $20.
