1994 Presidential Vintage Port

Post by Moses Botbol »

Decanted 24 hours. In the glass it was really opaque and purple/dark ruby with an oily sheen. A bit hot, dense, lush, and grapey with an ocean like brine. Finish is dry and a touch bitter. A simple quaffer. 86 points.

Moses,
Thanks for taking one for the team and trying this one out. Sounds like a decent "house Port" if you can get it real cheap.

Ya, picked up a 6 bottle OWC that is less fancy than Vesuvio for around $70.00. No complaints from me.

I just noticed an OWC of this port in my cellar. I wonder "how is it" "Can't be all that special". Look on this website and I see my review from 9 years ago... [help.gif]

Time for an update?

Nut much has changed with good and bad of my previous review mellowed out some. Nothing special at all.
