Opened with my brother. Decanted and drunk the next day.
Beautiful iridescent amber, gold, green color. Pungent musky aromas, with melon, brown sugar, oranges, and almonds. Dense and rich on the palate. Flavors of more musk melon, toffee, golden raisins, limes, tangerines, toasted nuts. Sweet but with beautiful acid balance. Long, dense, and rich finish. Is musk melon a characteristic of Malvasia Candida? Is 1862 one of the great vintages of all time? 96 points.

Eric I want to drink with you some time! Perhaps you can show me how to taste as deeply as you do... my TN's are seriously lacking!
