Three bottles purchased at Norwegian auction 2015. This was the last bottle. They were all bottled by the Norwegian State Wine Monopoly.
Cork came out in one piece and only lower part of the cork was wet. Decanted 3 hrs. Smaller amounts of sediments.
At the time of decanting the colour was clear light red. After completed decanting time the colour was dark red with hints of brown. Fresh aroma of minerals, oak and sweet berries. Full body. Taste was powerful, elegant/smooth, quite “big” in the style. Prunes and actually a taste of chocolates with liqueur. Fruit seems to be on the way out and time to drink up. Towards the end the tannins are building up, and spices/herbs were noticeable. This 48-year-old vintage port was still appearing well-structured and having a nice balance acidity/sweetness. Quite long finish. 93 pts.

Hi Moses!
I have been through the bottles that have been bottled by the Norwegian Wine Monopoly, but they all have the same writing as for the 1970 Croft.
The only Norwegian word is the name of the monopoly "Vinmonopolet".
