2 updates from Prowein

Post by Jasper A. »

So a lot of news from Prowein, but 2 worth mentioning.

Miguel had a cask sample of S. Leonardo 150 year old tawny port. An amazing portwine, for me even better then the Taylor's Single Harvest 1863. I was in a rush to get to my next appointment, so did not talk about when it will be released.

Graham's will bring a 1940 Single Harvest Port in the fall. A astonishing port, to bad only 1200 bottles will be made.

And while you're guessing, care to guess the price? Note that you can find 1937 and 1941 Kopke Colheita today on wine-searcher for $725 and $625. And I've paid a fair bit less in the past five years.

This one is not just for the UK market.
Is it a world wide release or certain (current) EU countries?

Don't know that. Only that it is not limited to the UK.
