I have tasted this port once before, which was at the 2012 FTLOP Harvest Tour visiting Quinta da Passadouro. At that time, I gave it 90 pts. Much less now when consuming a whole bottle with others.
Decanted 6 hrs. Deep dark red. Wonderful fruit (especially blackcurrant) and some minerals. Full body. First impression of the taste is good: Powerful, quite “big” in style with plenty fruit. But then we had a strange experience with minerals/metal being extremely dominant. Latter included a lot of acidity and being quite dry towards the end. Medium to long aftertaste. 84 pts.
