Carolina Restaurant Madeira List

Post by Moses Botbol »

If you are ever in Raleigh, N. Carolina, stop by the Angus Barn. They have a great selection of including a bunch of port and madeira. The wine list is impressive and food is good too. They serve over 10,000 steaks a week.

They had '60 Ferreira VP on the list for $220 and '94 Niepoort for $85. I eat here several times a year, but never with any port drinkers.

Had a simple Rioja yesterday, but had '99 Musar there once and they had Crasto dry wines for near retail that I would buy on most visits. They were out of the Crasto. I wish I could afford one these...

What, no La Tache?
Ambition driven by passion, rather than money, is as strong an elixir as is Port. http://www.fortheloveofport.com
