NV Sandeman 40 years tawny port

Bottled 2014. Decanted 45 minutes. Transparent medium brown colour. Nice aroma of citrus and wood. Medium to full body. Powerful, elegant, round, tropical fruits (such as apricot and peach). Nice integrated tannins. Well-balanced acidity/sweetness and an impressive structure. Long aftertaste. A solid 40 years old tawny. 95 pts.

When this is good, it's VERY good. Glad you had a stellar bottle! (I'm not implying that there is bottle variation, but the bottling date can make a difference).
