• 2008 Quinta do Vale Meão Porto Vintage - Portugal, Douro, Porto (9/27/2019)
  Very dark, almost opaque purple in color. Slightly subdued nose with some dark fruit notes. The Touriga Nacional grapes from this year were exceptional, and the 50/50 mix with Touriga Franca gives this wine tremendous structure and ability to age. Boysenberry, blueberry, and some mint on the great, well-balanced palate. (93 pts.)
