have a look on http://www.wine-searcher.com - there are quite a few second string VP's from 1962 - Fonseca Guimaraens being one of them 8)

I was born in 1961. No VP, although the 61 Colheita from Krohn is tasty.
My problem with 61 is I'll never buy the big name Bordeaux, because I can get so MUCH more excellent VP for the price. OK, maybe never. I always have a "get rich slow" scheme going - the "get rich quick" doesn't work !

Graham's Malvedos and Taylor's Quinta do Vargellas were both produced in 1961. Search them out and enjoy you birthday's in style 8)

I believe there is a Taylor's Crusted from 1973 - good luck tracking that down

The bad news for you is that I uncovered an old rule in the book of life a few years ago that says "if you drink a vintage port from your birth year on your birthday each year you will live forever" - it's been nice knowing you :?

It's already covered in the Will. The grapes are to be consumed with some cheese and oat cakes to accompany my one and only bottle of Noval Nacional 1963. The attendees are to be restricted to the top 10 posters on FTLOP 8)

I thought that you were insisting that your one and only bottle of Noval Nacional 1963 had to be consumed by you, even if on your hospital bed and intravenously.

Presumably if you can't drink it then it has to be poured down the sink by your executor.

There is a provision in the Will that allows the QNN63 to be consumed at the wake if my passing is sudden and unforseen. If I see it coming - you can be sure the empty bottle will be all you will find

At present you have the 3rd highest daily posting average behind Roy and Andy and ahead of me. If we exclude Roy on the basis that he started all this madness and had to generate interest, it is interesting to note that the 2 people in the world that have nothing much to do with their day are both policemen

You clearly either have or need a wireless connection. I have seen the cop shows on television and realise that at least 30 minutes of the 90 that you have to solve a murder is spent driving through sunny countryside to get from the murder site to the site where the murderer is to be arrested. With a wireless connection you could get someone else to do the driving and be online at this forum for an extra 30 minutes per week (excluding repeats) plus time during the adverts.

Bit of a bummer if you're on BBC though. Lose out on all the advert breaks.
