1992 Taylor Vintage Port
From a half bottle (375ml). Perfect cork. I purchased this bottle as a future in early 1992. I had bought a magnum of this wine, but after a year fighting with the wine merchant, I agreed to take 4 half bottles instead. Excellent cork. Very dark color. Intense blackberry and chocolate nose. BIG entry. Extremely mouth filling. Wow! So good every sip was a wow! Big, but finally pliable. Not brutally tannic or closed any more. If you have half bottles of this then I suggest that you start drinking them.... slowly. In a very good space. Really impressive. It needs to start becoming more complex... but I expect that won't happen for at least 10 years. This is the best Vintage Port I have had this year. 96++ points

I had a half bottle of this a few months back and like your experience, it was excellent. I like this more than the '94, although maybe the '94 just needs more time. I have a few more of the half bottles and 4 full bottles. The 750's I'll wait at least 5 years to try one.
