1994 Gould Campbell vintage port
Decanted 6 hrs, which worked well. Some small sediments. Medium to dark red colour. Aroma was a bit closed, although fruit was clearly there. Full body. Powerful, quite elegant (which further improved during consumption), fruit, minerals and some prunes. A well-structured vintage port with nice acidity/sweetness-balance. Dry towards the end with elements of wood. Long aftertaste. 94 pts.
