Last of three bottles.
Bottled 2009 = 46 years after bottling, and 57 years at consumption. Decanted 45 minutes. Clear, nearly transparent brown colour. Aroma a bit closed, but we could detect minerals and oak. Full body. Powerful and elegant. Taste is showing citrus in combination with something sweet (like burnt sugar), also hints of almond and oak. Nice sweetness/acidity-balance. Long aftertaste dominated by citrus. 45 minutes decanting appeared to be good. “The drinking-window” was relatively short, before showing signs of deterioration. 94 pts.

This is a wonderful Port, and it sounds like you had a pretty good bottle!
