Ole Martin Alfsen (OMA) is a Norwegian chef/sommelier who has various wines produced with his own recipe. That includes many varieties from Piedmont, Riesling from Germany, various beers and now port wine. From Quinta do Noval. Bottleshape, information on the label etc are just like a normal Noval-bottle, however with addition of letters OMA.
600 bottles produced. Bottled 2020. Decanted 1 hr, which is OK. Deep brownred colour. Well-composed aroma of citrus, tobacco, wood, herbs and actually some dust. Full body. Quite “big/rich” and taste is powerful and quite elegant. Showing nuts, some citrus and minerals. Well-balanced acidity/sweetness. Well-structured young colheita. Soft in view of being only 15 years old. Slightly dry towards the end. Long aftertaste. 92 pts.

Re: 2005 Quinta do Noval Colheita Special Edition OMA
I tasted the 2005 Colheita, not OMA version of course, back in November. I really enjoyed it! Quite agree with your tasting note, especially on the balance and slightly dry character. One of the best young Colheita I can recall since 1987 bottling.
