Fruit from the Fernandes family in Seixal. Opened this with the 1988.
Amber gold green. Not quite as dark as the 1988.
Aromas of limes, lemons, pears. Toasted nuts.
On the palate, very Sercial but not an austere one. Flavors of lemons, limes, praline, and pears. Very clean and fresh. Very pure much like the 1988. Nice length with more citrus. Perhaps not quite the concentration as the 1988. Not as ripe or exotic as well. I've loved all the wines originating with the Fernandes family. 92+ points, a hair less than the 1988.
