1977 Caves Messias Colheita

(Bottled 2019.) Bright orange-yellow color with great clarity, this is a blend of both red and white grapes. More fruity in the aroma than the previously tasted wines (2003 colheita and 30 year old tawny), with some orange and apricot. There is assertive acid in the flavor, and warmth in the finish. In between, there is medium sweetness with lots of flavor, of orange, caramel, crème brûlée, and vanilla. 94+ points.
