This wine is a blend of Baga and Touriga Nacional, from Bairrada and Dão, respectively. It smells funky, with goat and barnyard character. Later I noted cherry and strawberry aromas, and swirling reveal some sous bois and ivy vines. There are gobs of tannins, good acidity, and some tangy fruit. However, the body is on the medium-thin side. The medium-long finish suggests this wine has potential to be better, maybe with more air time? 91 points.

I bought a 750ml bottle of this to take home, and opened it a several weeks later. It was even better than the above. I didn't score it at the time, but at least 92 points, and probably more.
