Opened this bottle to get through a snowy weekend. After a 4 hour decant there was still some harshness in the nose and a pretty strong alcohol taste on entry that overwhelmed the fruit, which had a blackberry tinge to it. The finish was a bit harsh too. It was certainly a pleasant drink but something didn't seem to hang together-so we both gave it a 91.

One day later it settled down a bit and the finish was less harsh, but there was still something unbalanced about this bottle.

On Day 3, it actually seemed to come together a lot more. The blackberry and plum flavors were more prominent, the harshness was gone, and so was the rest of bottle!

I have one more bottle left to try again sometime soon.
