1960 Warre Vintage Port
Amber-orange in color with some cloudiness. Decanted 4 hours. Chocolate, red fruit and light spices on the nose. Subtle spirit with cherry and red fruits on the palate. The spirit continues through the mid-palette and into the rich, long finish. 91 points.

The spirit in this particular bottle was quite pronounced. It did soften a bit but was a distraction to the rest of it. Still a nice showing of it.

I think that the vintage is incorrect. Shouldn’t it be a 1963?

Was Andy double dipping in his Ports again '60/'63? Or just confusing the TN's? I told you guys not to let him drink too much!
Did the rest of you find that the Warre's had issues or was just ok? And was the 1963 of sound provenance?
Wish I was there with you guys, but ...

The Warres was the 1960. The Taylors was 1963 and a bottle I brought, but I've forgotten where I picked it up.

I gave the 1960 Warre's 92 points and the 1963 Taylor's 95 points. That is the best 1963 Taylor that I've had!

I corrected the first post subject line. Apologies for listing the wrong producer!
