One from my stash.
1964 Poças Colheita
Bottled 2008
Color: med dark tawny, lots of green at the rim. It honestly looks much older than bottled-at-44 years old.
Nose: butterscotch, lime, varnish. Also some candied lemon and maybe oak. Some kind of aromatic wood.
Palate: butterscotch, light caramel, faint lime, something vaguely herbal, maybe some grapefruit? Clean, precise, but not "crisp" in that the palate lingers.
Score: 93 points. I want to give it one more, but I suspect that's the birthday bottle talking. It is one of the better bottles of this that I can remember, though.
