• 1999 Quinta do Portal Vintage Port - Portugal, Douro, Porto (9/28/2021)
  This is one of my favorite Vintage Ports from Portal. In an “off” year, they managed to produce a wine that not only has great structure and staying power but is also very easy to drink. Black currant and boysenberry on the nose, with dark fruit and luscious blackberry and blueberry on the palate. The structure is great, and the wine has good balance. Long finish. (92 pts.)
