    The “Mother Wine” for this blend is a 1984 White Port. Golden-white in color. Tropical notes of grilled pineapple, caramel, and hazelnuts on the nose. Intense rich palate with complex tropical fruits, burnt sugar, and extremely well-balanced acidity. (94 pts.)
