  Cask sample. Not a blend. This is the “Mother Wine” of the 30 Years Old Tawny Port. There are six different casks of this wine. There are very nice notes of cedar and caramel on the nose. The palate has a rich orange spice with nice acidity. There are chocolate notes on the long finish, with a little bit of bitterness on the tail end of the finish. (96 pts.)
