Anyone fancy a madeira tasting?

Post by Le Gamin de Paris »

Hi folks

I’m interested to meet up with some Madeira fans for a tasting. I don’t mind what the theme is just want an excuse to open a nice bottle! My preference is London, UK but would also be happy to travel to Europe or USA if that works better for more people.

So I’m sending this message out to see if there is any shared interest…. I have no idea how these tasting get organised

Let me know what you think and we can go from there

Hi Eric. Good timing, in a few weeks I'm gonna be visiting Las Vegas: 27 November until 1 December. Let me know if you are available to meet one evening

I’m in if you’re someplace on the US at a time that I can get there. I’m definitely in the mood to share some Madeira

I could join in Las Vegas or the SF bay area provided timing works out for me.

I will, likely, be able to join in most places in the US (with some preference for Midwest or East coast ) . Would be happy to contribute.

I'm on the West Coast (LA) and there are a couple of us out here, but would be up for an organized tasting in/around here or SF or LV! Of course, I've been known to travel for madeira tastings....

I’ll bet we could convince Steve Pollack to join if it was in CA (or likely in LV)

It would depend on exact date, but I'd also be interested in a tasting in LV or CA (either LA or SF would be fine).

Any weekend in Feb would work for me.
Perhaps LA or San Francisco area? Seems more centralized for folks.

Depending on date I’d be interested if in the LA area.

February on the west coast would certainly appeal to me as well.
