1970 Quinta do Noval

There is a chemical aroma along with some green plant character. Later the aroma suggested alcohol warmth, but still green too. On its own this probably would be a good wine, but against other wines on this day like 1970 Graham, Taylor, and Fonseca, it couldn’t hold up. 91 points.
