(Bottled 1997.) Somewhat hazy with a very dark brown color, but without green or black on the rim. Smells of sweet pot pourri, a little solvent, sweet cane sugar, a little cola, and faint cacao. Swirling gives some cheery cough syrup aroma, and concentrated fig newton filling. Sassafras and horehound, with syrupy dark sugar flavors. A lot going on here. 94 points.
