Easiest, most pristine cork I’ve ever pulled from a vintage port. The Durand was overkill. Decanted 4+ hours before tasting. Dark red color. Very deep, rich cherry/fruity palette that I really loved. Drank over two days. 92 points.

Was it recorked? The Syms, like some others, now recork bottles after X number of years in their storage. So later releases will have new ones.

You know, that might be the case. I have never come across a cork like this before. Now I wish I'd saved it. It had the correct corresponding vintage on it.Andy Velebil wrote: ↑Thu Mar 09, 2023 9:02 pm Was it recorked? The Syms, like some others, now recork bottles after X number of years in their storage.
