Re: Buying opportunity
Were there other buyers for the port? Were they selling non-fortified wine too?

Re: Buying opportunity
I met the seller on the Dutch marketplace, he was selling lots of Q. do Vesuvio (from 1989 to 2008, all at the same price of €245 per box) and I bought the 1994. We got talking and I helped him through the jungle of the cellar (on paper only). After my post here I got only one question from a fellow member of this board and I shared the information with him, he bought some boxes too.Moses Botbol wrote: ↑Mon Jun 05, 2023 9:29 am Were there other buyers for the port? Oh, to be hounest, I even didn't ask him if there is non-fortified wine too, it didn't occur to me to ask.

The 1994 Vesuvio recently sold at Wine Bid for $360-380 per box. Six bottles per box. You got an excellent deal.
