Seemed to hit its stride after about a day open, stored at about 60F in the front of the wine fridge after opening.
Nose: Blackberry Lemonade, bit of a jammy aspect, touch of violet.
Palate: Plenty of blackberry lemonade across the palate, touch of a meaty bacon note in the middle, and more of a strawberry/raspberry jammy note at the end.
Finish: Lasts with mouth coating grip (which took the “decant” time to tame), more of that blackberry lemonade, and some cedar.

After the tannins unwind a bit, this turns into a fresh citrus and berry explosion. Thoroughly enjoyable, even if it’s definitely basic, one of the most warm weather appropriate rubies I’ve run into lately.
