NV Blackett 20 years white port

Post by Rune EG »

We have liked the Blackett 10 yrs white port, and as the 20 yrs white is on the market, we wanted to try it.
As a test we opened it without decanting time, just straight in to the decanter. Bottled 2023, so it was kind of “fresh”. Amber colour. Aroma of tropical fruits, wood and touch of something sweet. Full body. Taste is quite powerful, rich, strong, exotic fruits, slight bitterness towards the end. Colour changed slightly with being browner. 20-30 minutes decanting after opening is probably a good way. A rich port. 90 pts.
