Very nice!

It's always great to hear Miguel talk about his wines. :D

I love his great port wines, I love this interview!
That’s why I was shocked to hear that Miguel is selling the Quinta Mourão to the French Roullier Group. Is this true or (hopefully) just a rumour?

The “rumour” is true. The sale by the family has happened.

Miguel has left his job at Quinta do Mourão and is looking for his next project.

According to Revista de Vinhos:

Falua enters the Douro

After the Tagus and Vinhos Verdes, Falua extends its operation to the Douro Demarcated Region, where it will now own more than 70 hectares of vineyards. From what Revista de Vinhos managed to find out, in the next few days the acquisition of Quinta de São José, in Ervedosa do Douro, and Quinta do Mourão, in Lamego , very close to Peso da Régua, will be formally announced.

As I recall, Miguel's family owned 5 properties. Are the all included in the sale, or just Quinta do Mourao?

For example, most of the white grapes were grown at Quinta da Poisa.

I'm glad you liked the interview. The YT channel is slowly getting to what I want it to be, mainly talking with people in the industry and key players in the port world.

My tastings on that trip included a 100yo Tawny and a white colheita from 1927  Just amazing wines.
