Chasing a truck in Fall River, Mass
Stopped in Fall River yesterday at a Portuguese market and as we were leaving spotted this truck. Thoughts of commandeering certainly crossed my mind .....In the end settled for just kind of fun to see as I ate a Pastel de Feijao!

You should have forced it off the road and helped yourself.

We use to play Fall River (Durfee High School) in soccer. When we played in Fall River, the referees did not speak English.David Spriggs wrote: ↑Sat Dec 02, 2023 9:19 pm How cool! Fall River.... yeah... Portugal in the USA!
Only Portuguese and still the case. We had about 6 Portuguese on our team. So many came from Portugal for the textile and fishing industries. Textiles are basically a relic of history now. It's hoot going into mom and pop types of liquor store in the area. You'll find some neat Portuguese wines from local importers. Magnums of 10 year old Dao's for $15 quite easily.
Aidil Wines are pretty well distributor.

Portugalia?
Ever heat eat at O Dinis is East Providence? One of my favorite restaurants. Go there on a Sunday at 11:00 AM, every table has a bottle of wine. Customer base is everyone from seniors to barely 21. Drinking and dining like the old world.
